About the Games
The Rushmoor Wards Cup is a community-driven, volunteer-led tournament that unites all 13 wards of Rushmoor through sport, teamwork, and local pride.
Each team will consist of players who live or work in a specific ward of Rushmoor, with every ward fielding teams in various sports such as Football, Rugby, Netball, and Athletics. For example, Fernhill will have a team for each of these sports, competing against teams from the other wards.
The competition will feature small-sided matches, making it accessible for participants of all fitness levels and abilities. Each sport will follow a format that includes group stages leading into knockout rounds. Points will be awarded in each sport, contributing to the overall standings in the Rushmoor Ward Cup.
Our mission is to create a free and inclusive annual event where everyone, regardless of age, background, income, or ability, can get involved. To keep the event open to all, we rely on the support and generosity of the community. Every donation helps us cover essential costs such as venue hire, equipment, first aid, safeguarding, accessibility and more.
